To mark World Microbiome Day,
and following the success of the first edition,

we are organizing a new Ifremer Microbiome Day, on the Nantes site.

This seminar day is open to anyone interested in the broad theme of the microbiome at Ifremer including interactions with marine invertebrates, with the phycosphere, health quality and safety, as well as the impacts of global changes, and in partner research institutes.

It will take place on Tuesday, June 25th 2024.

Registrations are free.

Guests :

Eric Fouilland (CNRS-MARBEC): Microbes under stress: importance of interactions in their resilience.

Amin Mohamed (New York University Abu Dhabi): The coral microbiome: A glimmer of hope for corals in the Anthropocene.

The scientific presentations planned during this day will:

    • Provide an overview of the microbiome,
    • Illustrate the research and developments carried out within the different Ifremer units  on their respective themes,
